With the number of class offerings continuing to increase across the State of Maine, through our company’s multiple locations and our affiliate partnerships, becoming a first responder can be an easy and convenient first step to a career in public safety as a prehospital emergency medical provider.
Whether you’re a high school or college student looking for an accelerated program over the summer or you’re an adult making a career change requiring an evening class there are course offerings to meet your needs.

- The EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) license level
Advanced Life Support
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and Paramedic licenses are built upon the foundation of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification/license. Having successfully complete an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and having a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license is required for enrollment in the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) programs. As well, having successfully completed an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) course and having a current Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) license is required for enrollment in the Paramedic program.
